First a word from the committee...
We would like to welcome you to the fourth Air Day at Shempston.
We have seen many changes, hopefully for the better (!), since our first get together in August 1996. One big change this year has been that the event has been organised under a new name "Moray Resource for Mission". MRM is a small group of Christians in the Moray area, committed to promoting the work of missions across the wider Christian community. The group is a recognised charity and has representation from many local churches. At present most of our support is directed towards Mission Aviation Fellowship and Tear Fund.
This year we hope to have even more mission organisations represented at the Air Day. This presents a real opportunity to find out the exciting things that our God is doing in this, his world. We pray that you will take this opportunity to learn more about different missions. There will be no pressure for you to make any form of donation, what we do ask is that you come with an open mind and heart and that we allow God to challenge each one of us.
Prayer and praise has always been a key part of the Air Day. We were blessed earlier in the year by a Praise evening in St. Giles Church, Elgin and we hope to organise further events of this nature. The Air Day is arranged so visitors can come and go at anytime, but if you can stay for the praise session at 4 pm we are sure that you too will be blessed.
We are aware that things dont always go to plan, and indeed sometimes our planning could be better! So please let us know if you see anything that could be improved. Constructive criticism is always welcome!
We pray that the day will be an encouragement to all, young and old, to those who have been Christians for some time, and to those who are only beginning to learn that Gods love is greater than anything else in the world.
Have a great day
the Moray Resource for
Mission committee.
