St George's-Tillydrone Church of Scotland
We are a congregation of the Church of Scotland and we began holding services in Tillydrone School back in 1968. Our modern church building was opened in 1971.
As part of the Chuch of Scotland we believe in one God - the God of the Bible. From the Bible we learn that God is the Father who made us and loves us, even though we have not loved Him as we should. We learn too, that Jesus is the Son of God, who came into the world to die for us so that our sins might be forgiven; and that God the Holy Spirit comes to live with all who trust in Jesus as their Saviour, Master and Friend.
We believe that God still speaks to us today through the Bible. On Sundays we come to listen for God's word to us, as the Bible is read and explained; we also bring God our worship, praise and thanksgiving. Our morning and evening services on Sundays are occasions of rejoicing as we celebrate having such a wonderrful God and Saviour.
You will find a warm welcome at any of our services or activities. An all-age service is usually held on the second Sunday morning of each month. During the morning service there is a creche for babies and toddlers
